Dr. Tran is a Southern California native from San Gabriel, who is an oral surgeon with Ratner, Wilson, & Tran, DDS, Inc. – a full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) practice in California. Growing up in a family of dentists, Dr. Tran developed her passion for oral health at an early age, and today, she is well known for her compassion, skills and training – both in her community and throughout the OMS specialty.

Dr. Joby Jaberi was born and raised in Denver, CO. He completed his undergraduate degrees at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN in Human Biology and Chemistry. He received his dental degree at the University of Minnesota in 2006. Dr. Jaberi then completed his Residency Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital in 2012. An accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Rake has been treating patients at Dakota Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for more than 20 years. Dr. Rake practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) and is particularly focused in dentoalveolar surgeries, alveolar reconstruction, dental implants and orthognathic surgery.
Dr. Rake is an adjunct associate professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Brian Stone was born and raised in Lake Jackson, TX. From a young age, Dr. Stone knew he wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare field. After college, he began looking into oral surgery, but he wasn’t completely convinced that it was the right path for him. When he chose dental school, he wanted to keep his options open so that he could pursue a career in anything — orthodontics, endodontics, or oral surgery. However, after doing an internship in the oral surgery department and seeing a child with broken facial bones treated, he realized oral surgery was the right path.
Dr. Stone finds his oral surgery career extremely rewarding because of the opportunities he gets to develop relationships with patients. He enjoys meeting new people and loves the chance to help them. Oral surgery has given him a broad skill set, which allows him to make a difference for patients with many different conditions.
Education
Dr. Stone attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) for his undergraduate career, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. After taking a year off, he returned to school to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Baylor University. After receiving his dental degree, Dr. Stone chose to expand his training to medicine and earned his medical degree (MD) from Texas Tech Health Science Center as well before moving to Dallas to complete his oral and maxillofacial training.
Residency
After earning his dual degrees, Dr. Stone continued to complete his oral and maxillofacial residency. During his residency, he gained more specialized training in surgery and the treatment of more complex oral and facial conditions, including jaw dysfunction and facial trauma. He also trained alongside licensed anesthesiologists to earn the qualifications to administer all forms of sedation safely.
Certifications
As a final step to further his training, Dr. Stone completed the rigorous requirements to earn his certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This certification ensures that Dr. Stone understands and stays up to date with the latest advancements of the oral and maxillofacial specialty.
Well known for his compassion, skill and experience, Dr. Brandt is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with Blue Ridge Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and currently serves as the ABOMS expert on dentoalveolar surgery. He is a past president of the Shenandoah Valley Dental Association and has served in a variety of leadership roles for the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Iowa Dental Association, to name a few.
Dr. Brandt also served for eight years in the United States Navy Reserve, Dental Corps, and was honorably discharged in 2010 as a Lieutenant Commander.
