Leadership Team Spotlight – Chief Financial Officer Henry H. Moomaw, III

With more than 25 years of financial leadership experience with both public and private companies, Henry Moomaw brings a wealth of expertise to his role as CFO. He is a seasoned financial executive and a highly effective leader, who is particularly skilled in developing and implementing best practices for financial improvements, as well as managing M&A transactions, equity and debt sourcing, risk management and system conversions.

Henry has spent the past 20+ years serving private, equity-backed companies as they grew and advanced to recapitalizations, sales and IPOs, a sector he has learned to love. Henry says that he enjoys many things about his job, but that it’s the people here at USOSM that he enjoys best.

Previously, Henry served as CFO for Excalibur Resources and TEAK Midstream in the energy sector, where he led both companies through sales initiatives. Prior to that, he spent 13 years as VP Controller for Animal Health International, where he led accounting efforts in support of the company’s IPO. Henry also served as Controller for Fibreboard Corp, Assistant Controller for Hadson Corp, a senior financial analyst for Electronic Data Systems and an auditor with Arthur Andersen.

Henry is a CPA in the state of Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Henry has served on a number of company and community boards and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Methodist University.
